Cunt of the week #4

No joking about with this one. The people involved in this horrendous crime are evil cunts, not just idiot wankers. This week COTW goes to Steubenville High School football players Trent Mays and Ma’lik Richmond who raped a 16 year old girl. That’s enough about these pathetic excuses for human beings. They’ve been charged and will suffer the consequences of their actions, although nothing can repair the damage they’ve done to that girl. They share COTW with the CNN news channel who have seemingly sided with the rapists in this matter despite the guilty verdict. Their coverage on the matter focussed on the effect this verdict would have upon the rapists and their families rather than the huge impact it has and will continue to have upon the victim. CNN’s Candy Crowley and Poppy Harlow discussed the case as such: “These two young men — who had such promising futures, star football players, very good students — literally watched as they believed their life fell apart.” “What’s the lasting effect though on two young men being found guilty juvenile court of rape essentially?” They repeatedly showed footage of the parents of the rapists pleading with the judge and in tears, as well as footage of the guilty crying too, but failed to make any note of how this event has shattered the life of a young woman. Cuntishness beyond compare this week. Please boycott CNN if you’re reading this from the US, Canada or anywhere else it’s shown. Feel free to contact them and let them know how you feel about their coverage of this case.

  1. I think it is worth separating the two people convicted of rape and those who seek to defend or justify their actions. I read that both men apologised to the victims family after the sentencing and seem to be aware enough to realise they have done something wrong. It isn’t much but hopefully they will grow up knowing the implications of what they have done. What is far harder to deal with are the attitudes of those who filmed the attack without intervening, the rape apologists who set the agenda in the media and most importantly the twisted views of the community that young woman has to live in. When will they have their moment of realisation that what they do is wrong? On one side there is crime, punishment and hopefully rehabilitation; on the other side life goes on.
